My Thoughts

The Free and Energetic Souls

Life is truly worth living when you know how to embrace it to the fullest. We often encounter people—whether on vacations, TV, or social media—who radiate energy and zest for life. These individuals seize every moment, pursuing every thrill, and achieving success that others might only dream of. They seem to have it all. But what happens when all of this is taken away in an instant?

Life can change in the blink of an eye. One fatal accident can bring everything to a standstill, halting a once-vibrant life. Whether or not it was your fault, the tragedy doesn’t stop life from moving forward, but it can feel as if your own life is stuck in place.

The Responsible Ones

On the other hand, we also meet people whose freedom is constrained by the weight of responsibility. They can only dream of living freely, as their time and energy are devoted to family obligations. It’s not that they lack dreams—they have wonderful aspirations—but these dreams are often locked away, restrained by financial struggles and the duties they cannot escape. While their lives are filled with family, friends, and love, the freedom to soar is limited.

This is the story of William Traynor and Louisa Clark.

The Storyline

William Traynor and Louisa Clark come from two completely different worlds.

William lived life to its fullest, savouring every second. He had everything—love, adventure, a thriving career, wealth—everything one could wish for.

Louisa, on the other hand, is a simple girl, struggling at every step. She dreams of working in the fashion industry but can’t pursue it due to her family’s financial problems. Louisa juggles jobs to support her family, yet she remains cheerful, never letting her struggles dampen her spirit. She’s always trying to bring joy to those around her.

The story takes a dramatic turn when these two collide: Will’s life is shattered by an accident that leaves him in a wheelchair, and Louisa becomes his caretaker.

What I Like About the Novel

The Tragedy and the Silver Lining

There’s a saying: “There is always a silver lining under the dark clouds.”

Life isn’t always simple or happy. It has a way of teaching us through hardship. One day, you’re on top of the world; the next, you could fall so deep that you wonder if you’ll ever have the strength to rise again. It feels like the end.

But then, someone or something enters your life and turns it upside down for the better. They possess a unique aura, capable of changing even the darkest moments. They are your silver lining—the ones you should never let go of.

About the Novel

Lou Clark knows lots of things

She knows how many footsteps there are between the bus stops and her home. She knows she likes working in The Buttered Bun tea shop and she knows she might not love her boyfriend Patrick.

What she doesn’t know is she’s about to lose her job or that knowing what’s coming is what keeps her sane. Will Traynor knows his motorcycle accident took away his desire to live. He knows everything feels very small and rather joyless now, and he knows exactly how his going to put a stop to that.

What Will doesn’t know is that Lou is about to burst into his world in a riot of color. And neither of them knows they’re going to change the other for all time.

Happy Reading!!!
