My Thoughts

The End

After reading the book ‘It Ends with Us’, I would relate to Lily, when one has been in an abusive relationship then you’ll understand Lily’s pain. Being in love is not wrong but being in love with an abusive lover and wishing the next day will be better than the previous day, this is wrong.

I was happy when Lily decided to broke the chain and got out of her marriage. There are many women who stay in such relationship because of their kids or due to their family obligations, which is completely wrong. Every woman has the right to make their own decision, and no matter what the consequences are, stand tall on the decision that you make.

When the book ends where Lily and Ryle are divorced. You can see Lily starts a new phrase of her life, and somewhere you secretly wish that Lily should get back to Atlas. But its not that easy to move on from an abusive relationship. But when the books ends where Lily and Atlas meeting again. I wished for a happy end for them. Then one day I come across a post, the sequel is out ‘It Starts with Us.’

The Beginning

Sometimes, divorce gets messy because your child is the epicenter of the whole chaos, this was Lily’s challenge. Though she was out of the relationship, Ryle was still connected to her, through they child Emerson. But there was new hope in her life that was Atlas.

Lily and Atlas’s relationship wasn’t easy from the time they met each other. Whenever, they met, they faced new challenge, but these challenges made their relationship stronger. This most amazing thing about Atlas was, he had lots of patience in him. He was prefect for Lily, especially the situation she was in. There are very few people that we come across who stands with us in our bad times too.

In this book, we come to know more about Atlas, and his side of the story. In the first part you have seen the challenges and struggle that Atlas went through. He always gave credit to Lily for every step that took in his life. In this book you’ll seen the reason and take will make like Atlas even more.

I would really like my reader to keep this book in their Wishlist if they like ‘It Ends with Us’.
