My Review

“If Tomorrow Comes – Is what you do when life gives you a second chance. The end of something bad is the start of something new.”

About the Author

In 1969, Sheldon wrote his first novel, The Naked Face, which earned him a nomination for the Edgar Allan Poe Award from the Mystery Writers of America in the category of Best First Novel. His next novel, The Other Side of Midnight, climbed to number one on The New York Times Best Seller list, as did several ensuing novels, a number of which were also made into motion pictures or TV miniseries. His novels often featured determined women who persevere in a tough world run by hostile men.[8] The novels contained suspense and devices to keep the reader turning the page:[8]

“I try to write my books so the reader can’t put them down,” he explained in a 1982 interview. “I try to construct them so when the reader gets to the end of it, he or she has to read just one more chapter. It’s the technique of the old Saturday afternoon serial: leave the guy hanging on the edge of the cliff at the end of the chapter.”

My Thoughts

If you are about women’s power, this is your book “If Tomorrow Comes – By Sidney Sheldon”. The master storyteller of all times. He has the talent to captivate and indulge you completely in his story.

Dreams shattered

The story is about Tracy Whitney, a sweet, innocent girl with a wonderful lover and a promising future ahead of her. But her world turns upside down when she gets the news that her mother committed suicide. Her only mistake is that she decides to take revenge on the people who wronged her mother, and this decision shatters her life completely and she is wrongly prison for a crime that she didn’t commit. The life she once knew has vanished in a blink of an eye.

Second Chance

As the story progresses, Tracy does get her revenge, but the question that comes in front of you is, what’s next for Tracy Whitney how that she have a second chance in life? Life becomes difficult for her as she has the tag of a criminal on her head. While reading this book I remembered a phrase, no one wants to be a criminal, it’s the situation that makes you a criminal. It’s not easy when people see you as a criminal, no matter what the reason is, people always treat you as a criminal. The same thing happened with Tracy. No matter how much she tried, she wouldn’t run away from her past. But there is a saying, when you can fight it, embrace it. This is what Tracy did. She embraced her new life.

This book has everything, revenge, heartbreak, pain, second chance and new adventures on every page you turn. Must read if you come across this book.
